This policy explains how CrackTech Limited (RJSC Registration No. C-180637), Dhaka, Bangladesh (“CrackTech”, “we”, “us”) handles information through the CrackTech Comment Bot, the Messenger automation that runs on our Facebook Pages, including Live MCQ, Live Written, Live Publications, Medical Higher Study and CT MEM. 1. What the bot does
When you comment a specific keyword on a post on one of our Facebook Pages, the bot sends you a private message on Messenger with the study material you requested, for example a PDF link. In the same conversation it may ask whether you want to share your phone number or email address so that we can send the material and follow up with related updates.
Sharing your phone number or email is always your choice. In some campaigns we send the material only after you share a contact detail; the message will tell you when that is the case.
2. Information we receive
- Your public Facebook name and the Page-scoped ID that Meta assigns to you for our Page.
- The comment you wrote, the post it was on, and the time.
- Messages you send to our Page in that conversation.
- Your phone number and/or email address, only if you choose to share them, either by tapping Messenger’s built-in share buttons or by typing them.
We do not receive your Facebook password, your friends list, or any information from outside that conversation.
3. How we use it
- To send you the material you asked for.
- To contact you about related courses, exams, publications and services from CrackTech’s platforms (Live MCQ, Live Written, Live Publications and Medical Higher Study).
- To measure how our campaigns perform.
We do not use this information for any other purpose, and we do not sell or rent it.
4. Who we share it with
We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing. It is processed by service providers that host and run our systems (for example, our cloud hosting provider), who may use it only on our behalf. Our systems may be hosted outside Bangladesh. Meta Platforms processes Messenger conversations under its own terms and policies. We may disclose information if required by the laws of Bangladesh.
5. How long we keep it
We keep contact details collected through the bot only as long as they are needed for the purposes above, and no longer than 24 months after your last interaction with us. After that we delete them.
6. How to delete your data
You can ask us to delete the information we hold about you at any time:
- Email contact@cracktech.org with the subject “Delete my data” and include your Facebook name (and the phone number or email you shared, if any); or
- Send the message “Delete my data” to the same Facebook Page on Messenger.
We will delete your information within 30 days and confirm through the same channel. You can also stop messages at any time by blocking or muting the conversation in Messenger.
7. Security
Information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access is limited to authorized CrackTech staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Children
The bot is not intended for anyone under 13, which is Facebook’s minimum age.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
